Roofs, gutters, siding, fences, windows and water that got inside. A licensed Massachusetts contractor looks at it, photographs it, and gives you a written estimate you can hand to your insurer.
Missing or lifted shingles, damaged flashing, leaks around chimneys, vents and skylights.
Pulled-off or bent gutters and downspouts, reattached or replaced so water leaves the house again.
Cracked, loose or missing siding and trim, matched to what is already on the house.
Leaning posts, broken panels and sections knocked down by wind or falling limbs.
Broken glass, damaged frames and trim, and the water that came in around them.
Wet drywall, ceilings, flooring and paint after a leak — dried out, opened up and rebuilt.
Most homeowners policies cover sudden damage from wind, falling trees and wind-driven rain. Damage from rising floodwater is usually excluded and needs separate flood insurance. It depends on your policy and deductible — confirm with your insurer.
Home improvement work over $1,000 on an owner-occupied home of one to four units must be done by a registered Home Improvement Contractor under a written contract. Structural work also needs a Construction Supervisor License. We hold HIC #212956 and CSL #CS-120293 (Unrestricted).
We give you a detailed written estimate with photos that your insurer and adjuster can use. Negotiating the claim is between you and your adjuster. We never offer to cover or waive a deductible.
We respond the same day on weekdays and schedule the inspection from there. After a large storm, requests are handled in the order they come in.
